About PPL

Project for Pride in Living (PPL)

PPL is a nonprofit organization providing housing, jobs and training throughout the Twin Cities metro area to assist lower-income people and families who are working toward self-sufficiency.

Founded, in 1972, PPL, partners with governments, businesses, and other non-profits to preserve or create new affordable housing and to revitalize neighborhoods. Human Services for adults and youth are made available to residents of PPL-owned and managed rental housing, to help them develop the tools they need to achieve self-sufficiency. On-the-job and classroom training, and employability services, are available to the broader community to raise and improve their employable skills.

  • Self-sustaining businesses with paid training for hard to employ adults
